This vintage mahogany front door which is about 100 years old. It was weathered and the finish had been touched up many times over the years. The door was hand scraped to removed the old finish, then sanded smooth. A custom mixed stain was done and boat varnish clear coat was applied to protect it for the next many years of its life.

Interior Solid Mahogany paneled front door. The existing finish was mottled and blotchy. The existing coating was removed by using hand scrapers, then sanded smooth. A custom stain color was mixed to match the existing mahogany trim, and several clear coats were applied to protect and extend the life of this front door.

The hardware has been installed on the door, the hand rubbed look of the varnish coats, compliment the black iron details of this door.
